Hi my name is Kaitlyn and I am addicted to croissants
All gathered: Hi Kaitlyn
It has been 24 hours since my last croissant, my hands are shaking, I am nervous and paranoid… I keep looking around and seeing croissants everywhere… hiding in alley ways… getting on buses… it’s a nightmare.
I’m back in England, sunny, sunny England. I am not disappointed… but I am sad. My adventure is over. An adventure that started here 5 and a half months ago. I am heading home in a week and although I will be returning to Europe (which is by no means an exciting prospect), I have come to the realisation that I may never cruise Europe solo again.
The next couple of years for me will be spent guiding trips around Europe and exploring some other continents (get ready South America). So by the time I have ticked a few destinations off my list I will be old and god forbid might have a significant other to think about (highly unlikely).
It is for this reason that I am glad I managed to squeeze every last drop of adventure out of this trip. I am exhausted but regret nothing. With a few more days exploring London then back home to travel Australia with Abbie for a month, I think I definitely have some more adventures coming up.
The blog posts will slow up, and will probably be less interesting but that shouldn’t matter to my readership of three people. So let’s think of this as a pause, I will be getting back to you properly when I am back in 2017 naively leading tourists around Europe.
