Week 10: The final countdown

With our leaving date fast approaching and a lot to organise… we got extremely busy buying ridiculous items for our road trip… such as pig hats, beer and cookies.

The surf got absolutely huge so we didn’t have much of a chance to get in the water which was probably a good thing because there were a lot of goodbyes to be said.

I don’t want to bang on too much… but Ericeira fast became one of my favourite places in the world. The people, the town, the surf… the whole of it. I will definitely be returning…

I am glad I was about to embark on two pretty epic adventures (Bromance Road Trip and Spanish Death Cliffs) otherwise I would not have been a happy chappy leaving this gorgeous fishermans town.

I couldn’t cull any of my “wild weather” photos so I put them all in… sorry…

I also took some terrible nostalgia photos of the Amar sign and some of the hostel… but, like everything in my life they were an afterthought so I took them at 5am on the day we left, in possibly the worst lighting.
