Enter Moses (pronounced “Moshay”) and Ishay (pronounced Ish-ai). Two of the most beautifully crafted Israeli people I have ever met… I can’t remember if I have mentioned this or not but I have a new found love for the Israeli population.
This is largely due to the fact that I had never met Israelis until getting to Amar and boom it seems the entire country has migrated to Portugal.
The next two weeks were characterised by these two hilarious fellas, we drank, we danced, we sang and we made crass jokes in Hebrew together. We also dabbled in a little surfing. There was also another lovely human being present for this time and that was Massimo… a gentle and kind Italian who was always up for a good time.
I witnessed Massimo in full stoke on his last day surfing, where I pretty much forced him to join and he had an absolute killer session, we surfed until we could no longer see each other as the sun had set.
We also had Max, an awesome Kiwi/Aussie/Romanian surfer/skater/general chiller. He hung around for a while and was an epic time.
To add to the guests was a bunch of four Aussie fellas who, at first were very very antisocial but when they came out of their post-Ibiza coma were a really good time. In terms of people… these next two weeks were definitely the best, we made heaps of good friendships and ate a lot of all-you-can-eat sushi.
